Supplier Code of Conduct

This code sets the minimum standards we expect from suppliers, partners, contractors, and sub-contractors working with Technophobia Ltd.

1. Scope
  • Applies to all goods and services supplied to Technophobia Ltd or our clients.
  • Suppliers must follow applicable law and this code.
2. Labour and human rights
  • No forced, bonded, or child labour. Respect the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Fair wages, hours, and benefits at or above legal minimums.
  • No discrimination or harassment. Respect freedom of association where lawful.
  • Right to work checks for all staff supplied to us.
3. Health and safety
  • Safe workplaces, equipment, and processes.
  • Risk assessments, training, and incident reporting.
  • Clear emergency procedures for on-site work.
4. Ethics and business conduct
  • No bribery or corruption. Follow our Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
  • Honest marketing, no plagiarism, and respect for IP.
  • Conflicts of interest disclosed in writing.
5. Environment
  • Comply with environmental law and cut waste and emissions.
  • Prefer renewable power for data centres and offices where available.
  • Manage e-waste responsibly (WEEE) and wipe data before disposal.
6. Data protection and security
  • Follow UK GDPR and our DPA when handling personal data.
  • Use MFA, encryption at rest and in transit, and patch promptly.
  • Report incidents without delay via hello@technophobia.uk.
7. Sub-contracting
  • No sub-contracting our work without written consent.
  • Flow this code and relevant contractual terms to all approved sub-contractors.
8. Evidence and audits
  • Keep basic records showing compliance (policies, statements, certifications).
  • Provide reasonable evidence on request. Site visits may be arranged for higher-risk work.
