Disciplined SEO as a long-term engagement

SEO is not a one-off audit. It is a continuous, disciplined, technically literate process of building, refining, and maintaining the signals that tell Google your site is the right answer to a customer search. We do that work as a monthly retainer at £300 plus VAT, six-month minimum, with monthly reporting on what we have done, what has moved, and what is next. Sites we have moved — like Sultan Delights from page five to page two against Amazon — got there through this kind of work, not a magic audit document.

TP SEO Tool plugin

Per-page meta titles and descriptions, schema markup, canonical tags, Open Graph and Twitter card data — all our own code, all under our control.

Multi-location SEO

Ring 1 service pages + Ring 2 location hubs + Ring 3 portfolio proof — the structural approach behind the 70-page Total Access Scaffolding build.

Specialist long-tail SEO

Where a specialist brand can beat Amazon and M&S — long-tail keywords matched to product credentials and audience needs.

Technical SEO audits

Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, schema, accessibility, indexing — the technical groundwork that makes the rest of SEO effective.

Content & portfolio SEO

Ongoing content updates, portfolio entries, and internal linking refinements as the business grows and Google expectations evolve.

Monthly reporting

What we did, what moved, what's next — clear, honest reporting every month, not a wall of charts no one reads.

20 years of SEO

Through every major Google algorithm change

Bill Amos has been doing SEO professionally for 20 years — spanning Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, BERT, Helpful Content, and every algorithm change in between. That experience matters because SEO that worked in 2010 is the kind of SEO that gets a site penalised in 2026. The discipline today is technical correctness, content quality, structured data, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals — and a clear-eyed understanding that there are no shortcuts. We do not buy links, we do not stuff keywords, and we do not promise rankings we cannot deliver.

Built Around Your Business

Tailored systems designed for the way you work.

TP SEO Tool (sometimes called Meta Overrides) is the WordPress plugin we built and maintain ourselves to manage per-page meta titles, descriptions, schema markup, canonical tags, and Open Graph data. It does what Yoast and Rank Math do for the basics, but tightly integrated with the way we build sites through PageForge — so every page is correct from the moment it is assembled rather than retrofitted later.

TP SEO Tool — our in-house plugin

Because the plugin is ours, when Google changes a structured data expectation or a metadata convention, we update the plugin and it propagates across every client site we maintain. No waiting for a third-party plugin author to ship a fix.

Multi-location SEO

Ring 1, Ring 2, Ring 3

For trade and service businesses operating across multiple towns, the structural approach is three rings of content. Ring 1 — a page for every service type aligned to customer intent. Ring 2 — a page for every location the business operates in. Ring 3 — portfolio project pages that link the two together with proof. The Total Access Scaffolding case study uses 12 service pages, 22 location hubs, and 25+ portfolio pages — 70+ pages indexed, ranking across the full operational geography of the business.

You don't beat Amazon on "Turkish delight". You beat them on "vegan halal handmade Turkish delight 50-piece box". That is what specialist long-tail SEO is — finding the searches where a small specialist with real product credentials is the better answer than a national chain, then making sure your site is the one Google returns. The Sultan Delights case study is exactly this strategy in action: page five to page two, against Amazon, M&S, Waitrose and Fortnum & Mason.

Specialist long-tail SEO — where small brands beat giants

You compete where the giants do not have to fight on every front.

Technical SEO

The work that actually gets done

Every month the retainer covers technical work that most agencies talk about and few actually do at this rate: Core Web Vitals monitoring and fixes, Lighthouse re-audits, schema markup refinement as Google's expectations evolve, canonical and pagination audits, internal linking optimisation, broken link sweeps, image alt text discipline, and Search Console indexing monitoring. The output is a site that stays technically clean as it grows, not a site that quietly degrades over time.

SEO is a long-game discipline. Google takes weeks to recrawl, weeks more to re-evaluate, and months to fully reflect technical and content changes in rankings. An agency promising results in 30 days is either using black-hat shortcuts (which get punished) or selling you a service that will not actually move anything.

Why we insist on a six-month minimum

We insist on a six-month minimum because that is the honest length of time it takes to do meaningful work and see meaningful results. After six months it is month-to-month with no further commitment.

Tailored to sector

Local SEO, specialist SEO, accessible SEO

Local trades need multi-location pages. Specialist ecommerce needs long-tail discipline. Councils and charities need accessibility-driven content alongside compliance metadata. Hospitality and tourism need photography-led design that also performs technically. The retainer is the same fixed monthly rate; the work mix is shaped to your sector and your goals after discovery.

What SEO clients say

How we'd work with you

Six-month engagement, monthly reporting

Discovery call & site audit. 30-45 minutes to understand the business, the current SEO state, and the realistic opportunities. A technical audit follows in the first month — Core Web Vitals, schema, indexing, content gaps.

Monthly retainer work. TP SEO Tool wired for per-page metadata across the site. Schema markup, canonical control, Open Graph data. Multi-location structure or long-tail content depending on your sector. £300 + VAT per month, six-month minimum.

Monthly reporting. Clear honest reporting at the end of every month — what we did, what moved on Google, what we are planning next. No vanity metrics, no walls of charts no one reads.

Common questions

SEO, plain answers

FAQs

£300 per month is the rate at which we can actually deliver the disciplined technical work that moves rankings — schema, Core Web Vitals, content, internal linking, monthly reporting. Agencies offering SEO at £100/month are usually selling automated reporting and very little real work. Agencies at £600+ are usually adding a layer of account management that small businesses are paying for but not benefiting from.

Google takes weeks to recrawl and months to fully reflect changes in rankings. Anything shorter than six months and we cannot show you meaningful ranking movement, which is unfair on both of us. After the six months it is month-to-month and you can stop any time.

No. Anyone who guarantees a number-one ranking is either lying or about to use black-hat shortcuts that will get the site penalised. We will commit to the work and report honestly every month on what we did and what moved. Sultan Delights moved from page 5 to page 2 against Amazon; Total Access Scaffolding ranks across 22 Cumbrian locations. Those are real outcomes, not promises.

Yes. We audit the technical foundation in the first month, fix the most blocking issues, and then run the standard retainer work from there. Sometimes a major technical rebuild is needed and we will tell you that honestly during discovery.

Per-page meta title and description management, schema markup generation, canonical tag control, Open Graph and Twitter card data, robots and indexability controls. It is our in-house plugin so we update it as Google expectations change and it propagates across every site we maintain.

No — SEO is what we do. Google Ads is a different discipline and we would rather refer you to someone who specialises in paid media than half-do it ourselves. SEO and Google Ads work well together when both are done properly.

Want SEO that actually moves rankings over time? Let's start with a discovery call and a real audit of where you are now.
